Work & Approach
As with any construction project, progress relied on a phased approach. We began with the underground level, continued with the above-ground structural frame and concluded with interior works. Due to the project’s complex interior solutions, each stage required careful joint planning with the client. One of the key efforts was ensuring that the building reached full waterproofing quickly, including the rooms located below ground. Not easy, but done.
Breakthroughs
The most significant challenge was managing the construction design process in the context of the project’s scale and complexity: creating the -1 level between historic limestone walls, supporting existing tunnels, executing intricate balcony and structural junction details and maintaining precise craftsmanship throughout. Adhering to the schedule remained critically important from start to finish.
Takeaways
Effective accessibility planning requires careful consideration of diverse user needs, attention to practical details, and a balance of safety and flexibility. The only way to do it is with people who have actual experience.

Work & Approach
Our work was to make the building accessible, safe, and user-friendly, to put it simply. Solutions included terrace and stage access, thorough analysis of furniture ergonomics, creation of wheelchair-accessible acoustic pods, and accessible kitchen and electronic safety equipment.
Breakthroughs
The main challenge was ensuring accessibility for all types of disabilities while maintaining the flexibility to adapt individual workstations. Additional challenges included designing tactile guidance paths and handrails for stepped areas.
